Just a few footsteps from the gîtes lies our little village, where life moves at a gentler pace.

At its heart is one of our favourite local spots, Auberge Des Arts — a charming restaurant, bar and sunny terrace next to the church run by two brothers, perfect for a leisurely lunch, dinner or an evening drink.

There’s also a lovely village boulangerie, where you can pick up warm, crusty French bread, buttery croissants and freshly made pastries. Alongside it you’ll find the traditional multi-service café-bar and shop, the historic 13th-century village church and our little Post Office — all part of the simple charm of village life in the Périgord Vert. 

The community is also home to a vibrant ceramic art scene rich in creative culture as Bussiere-Badil hosts the well-known ‘le Marché Céramique de Bussière-Badil’ the annual Ceramic Fare. And for the golfing fans… We’re situated in the radius of several golf courses, where miss hits are just practice swings.
